DIAGNOSTICS
ECG, Hearing screen (audiometry) and ear drum tests (tympanometry), Lung/breathing test (spirometry)
CONTRACEPTION
Contraception counselling and services, including Depo Provera injections, Jadelle insertions and copper/Mirena/Jaydess Intra Uterine Device insertions.
CORTICOSTEROID INJECTIONS
After a review with your GP and when indicated, joint and soft tissue injections can be done as treatment of muscle and joint inflammatory reactions.
COUNSELLING SERVICES
Mental health evaluation and screening and counselling services are available in the community. After a referral to the Community Mental Health Service, patients can see Anne Cooper at the Otorohanga Medical Centre every Wednesday.
SKIN CHECKS &Â LIQUID NITROGEN/CRYOTHERAPY
Skin cancers are the most common form of cancers in New Zealand. We offer skin checks/dermoscopy and treatment including excisions and cryotherapy. Dr. Wong also has her Skin Clinics offering a full skin check as well as treatment for skin lesions.
MINOR SURGERY
We offer minor surgery procedures, including biopsy, excisions, and nail surgery
STOP SMOKING SUPPORT
Smoking cessation support, including the stop smoking incentive where smokers receive an award when they have successfully quit smoking. Nicotine replacement therapy and behavioural support are incorporated in the programme. Find out more here.
PREVENTATIVE SERVICES
Diabetes checks, cardiovascular risk assessment, B4 School Checks, cervical smears, immunisation/vaccination programmes.
TRAVEL CONSULTATION
Travel certificates and travel consultations, including recommendations for vaccinations/immunisations as required. Vaccines can also be ordered and administered for a fee. We recommend consultations 4-6 weeks prior to travel.

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT
We offer services to heelp with weight management, nutrition and exercise for patients and their families. This includes referrals to Sport Waikato, Bodywise, nutritionists/dietitians, and the Otorohanga pool and gym
EAR HEALTH
Ear suctioning appointments are available. Also, the Wolfe Hearing Services are available for ear cleaning, and general ear health care. Wolfe Hearing attends the medical centre once a month.
HOME VISITS
Home visits are available for regular patients whose condition prevents them from attending the medical centre.
